What personal data do we collect?
Hair in Mexico collects personal data through the website form, through WhatsApp and the website chat, and during your treatment.
Through the website consultation form, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your preferred language
- The service you are interested in
- Your message
- The page from which you sent the form, any campaign parameters in its address (UTM parameters) and the date and time of submission
Through WhatsApp and the website chat, we collect the messages you send us and, if you choose to send them, photos of your hair.
During your assessment and treatment, we collect the information needed to treat you safely, such as your medical history, the medications you take and photos taken to plan and follow your procedure. When you book the all-inclusive package, we also collect the travel details needed to organise it, such as your arrival and departure dates and flight details.
How do we handle sensitive data such as photos and health information?
Photos of your hair, your medical history and other health information are sensitive personal data under the LFPDPPP. Hair in Mexico processes this data only with your express consent and only to assess your case, plan your treatment, perform it and follow your recovery. You may withdraw your consent at any time, although this may prevent us from assessing or treating you.
Why do we use your personal data?
Hair in Mexico uses your personal data for primary purposes, which are necessary for the service you request:
- Responding to your enquiry and contacting you
- Assessing whether you are a suitable candidate for treatment
- Preparing your treatment plan and quote
- Performing your procedure and following up on your recovery
- Coordinating your travel, hotel and transfers
- Managing reservations, payments and the guarantee certificate
- Meeting our legal obligations
We also use your data for secondary purposes, which are not necessary for the service:
- Sending you follow-up messages about our services
- Sending you offers and promotions
You can refuse the secondary purposes at any time without affecting your treatment. Email clinic@hairinmexico.com or send us a WhatsApp message saying you do not want to receive promotional messages.
Who do we share your personal data with?
Hair in Mexico does not sell your personal data. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers acting on our behalf: the website form is delivered through a lead-management service operated for the clinic; the website chat widget is provided by LeadConnector (HighLevel); and we communicate with patients through WhatsApp. These providers process data only to provide their service to us, and some may store it outside Mexico.
- Hotel and transport providers: when you book the package, we share the details needed to arrange your stay and transfers, such as your name and travel dates.
- Authorities: when the law requires it, or to comply with a valid order from a competent authority.
These disclosures are necessary for the service you request or are required by law, so they do not require your separate consent under the LFPDPPP.
How can you exercise your ARCO rights?
You have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it if it is inaccurate, Cancel it when it is no longer needed, and Oppose its use for specific purposes. These are known as ARCO rights. You can also revoke your consent or limit how we use and disclose your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email clinic@hairinmexico.com with:
- Your full name and a way to send you our reply
- A copy of an official ID, or proof of your representative’s authority
- A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise
- Any document that helps us locate your data
Hair in Mexico will reply within the time limits set by the LFPDPPP. Some data may need to be kept for a period when the law requires it, for example in medical records.
How do we protect and keep your data?
Hair in Mexico applies administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep your data only as long as it is needed for the purposes in this notice and our legal obligations, and then delete it securely.
Does this website use cookies?
The Hair in Mexico website uses the Meta Pixel, an advertising and measurement tool provided by Meta Platforms. It sets cookies that tell us which of our ads brought you to the site and whether you contacted us, and Meta may use this information under its own data policy. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. The website chat widget, provided by LeadConnector (HighLevel), may set its own cookies or use your browser’s local storage so the chat works. Our hosting and security providers may also process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the chat may then stop working.
Do we collect data from minors?
Hair in Mexico’s services are intended for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors through this website.
How will we tell you about changes to this notice?
Hair in Mexico may update this notice when the law, our services or our providers change. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date. If a change affects how we use your sensitive data, we will ask for your consent again when the law requires it.
