What do all Hair in Mexico procedures have in common?
Every hair transplant at Hair in Mexico relocates your own hair. The medical team takes individual follicles from a donor area where hair is permanent, usually the back and sides of the scalp, and implants them where hair is thin or missing. Transplanted follicles keep the characteristics of the donor area, which is why the result is long-lasting.
The four procedures differ only in the area treated and the design goal:
- Hair transplant for men: rebuilding a receding hairline, the front, or the crown in male-pattern hair loss.
- Hair transplant for women: adding density where female hair loss is diffuse or concentrated along the part.

How do FUE and DHI differ?
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) both extract follicles one by one with a fine micro-punch. The difference is the implantation step.
- FUE: the specialist first opens tiny channels in the recipient area, then places the grafts into them.
- DHI: the specialist loads each graft into a pen-like implanter that creates the channel and places the graft in a single step.

- The area to treat: hairline, crown, diffuse thinning, beard or eyebrows.
- Your donor supply: how many grafts can be taken without thinning the donor area.
- The stage of your hair loss: whether it is stable or still progressing.
- Your goal: a defined hairline, more density, or both.

- Mesotherapy: a series of micro-injections that deliver a prepared solution into the scalp.
Neither treatment creates new follicles in areas that are already bald. Whether one is worth adding to your plan is something the medical team assesses case by case.
