Hair Transplant For Men

A unique non-surgical method with a 95% hair engraftment rate.

Hair Transplant For Men

As a professional in the field of hair restoration, I can attest that when hair follicles have reached complete atrophy, drug-based or physical therapy methods are insufficient in restoring lost hair. The only viable solution, in this case, is hair transplantation.

It’s essential to note that the cost of this service can vary depending on the specific case and the extent of the problem area. Factors such as the size of the transplant area, the number of grafts required, and the technique used can influence the final cost.

At our clinic, we offer personalized consultations to assess each patient’s unique situation and provide a detailed breakdown of the costs involved. We prioritize transparency and aim to ensure that our patients are fully informed about the procedure’s pricing before making any decisions.

Lifespan of transplanted hair

The longevity of the results will depend on how well the individual takes care of their hair and scalp after the procedure. It’s important to follow any post-operative instructions provided by the surgeon, including avoiding excessive sun exposure, avoiding harsh chemicals or styling products, and maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle.

The results of a hair transplant can be permanent, but it depends on several factors, including the individual’s hair loss pattern, the extent of their hair loss, the quality of the transplanted hair, and how well they take care of their hair after the procedure.

In general, hair transplants involve taking healthy hair follicles from a donor area on the scalp and transplanting them to areas of thinning or balding hair. These transplanted hairs are typically genetically resistant to the hormone that causes hair loss, so they should continue to grow in the transplanted area.

However, it’s important to note that the transplanted hair will initially fall out after the procedure, which is a normal part of the process. New hair growth typically begins within a few months, and full results may take up to a year to become apparent.

The Norwood-Hamilton scale, also known as the male pattern baldness classification, is a system used to describe the stages of hair loss in men. It consists of seven stages, ranging from no hair loss (stage 1) to near-total baldness (stage 7).

  • No significant hair loss or recession of the hairline
  • Slight recession of the hairline around the temples
  • The first signs of significant hair loss, with deepening of the frontal hairline and/or thinning at the crown
  • Further recession of the hairline and thinning at the crown, with a distinct band of hair separating the two areas
  • More extensive hair loss and thinning, with the band of hair at the crown becoming narrower
  • The band of hair at the crown is lost, with only a few sparse hairs remaining
  • Only a horseshoe-shaped fringe of hair remains at the back and sides of the head.

Note: It’s important to note that these stages are only a general guide, and not all cases of hair loss fit neatly into these categories. There are many different types and causes of hair loss, and the severity and progression of the condition can vary widely from person to person.

Medical history: Your doctor will need to know about any medical conditions, medications, and allergies you have.
Goals and expectations: Discuss your goals and expectations with the doctor to determine if hair transplant is the right option for you and to establish realistic expectations.

Recovery time: Hair transplants require a certain amount of recovery time, during which you may experience swelling, pain, and redness. You should discuss the expected recovery time with the doctor and plan accordingly.

Risks and complications: All surgical procedures carry some risks and it is important to understand the possible complications of a hair transplant, such as scarring, infection, and rejection of the transplanted hair.

The average duration for a hair transplant surgery using the Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method combined with Direct Hair Implantation (DHI) typically takes between 6 to 8 hours. Hair transplant procedures are typically not painful as they're done under local anesthesia. However, mild discomfort may be felt post-surgery, which can be managed with medication.

Women's hair loss is a common issue. According to statistics, one out of every ten women suffers from this condition. Most cases of hair loss can be solved by engaging professionals and choosing the right method of hair restoration. The hair transplant procedure will restore your previous hairline, making your hairstyle as attractive as it was years ago, if not more so.

Two weeks before surgery, stop taking medications that can thin the blood and increase the risk of bleeding. Report any new medical conditions or medications you've started taking since your initial consultation with your doctor. This will assist the doctor in selecting the most appropriate medications for hair transplant surgery that will not interfere with your current medications.
Our top priority is your health.

Keep the transplant site clean and dry. Avoid excessive movement of the transplanted hair. Report any symptoms of infection, such as redness, fever, or increased pain, to the surgeon immediately. Avoid exposing the transplanted hair to harsh elements, such as extreme heat or cold. Avoid smoking and limit alcohol consumption for 2 weeks. Maintain a healthy diet to romote healing. Stay hydrated. Avoid strenuous physical activity or heavy lifting.

Another hair transplant can produce the satisfactory end result you need. Most people do a second hair transplant to increase the density, especially if the number of grafts used during the first operation did not subsequently produce thick natural hair. If done correctly, it always justifies itself for the right candidate for a hair transplant. It depends on which goals you are want.

- Customizable results: allows for the hair to be transplanted in the desired direction, leading to a more personalized and natural-looking result.
- Minimal scarring: allows for minimal scarring as the hair follicles are implanted directly into the scalp without making any incisions.
- Faster healing time: DHI hair transplantation is less invasive than traditional methods, leading to a faster healing process.
- Improved accuracy: use specialized instruments that allow for precise placement of hair follicles, resulting in a more natural-looking hairline.
- Reduced discomfort: minimally invasive technique and causes less discomfort compared to traditional methods.
- Shorter procedure time: DHI procedures are typically shorter in duration compared to traditional hair transplant methods.

Usually, the donor zone is located on the occipital or temporal part of the head. If the hair in these zones is not enough, they can be taken from the beard, chest, back. The removed hair follicles are protected inside the hollow needle of the implant, and therefore are not damaged when removed. For transplantation, the patient's own hair is used. Other people's hair cannot be used.

1. Follow Pre-Surgery Instructions
2. Post-Surgery Care
3. Healthy Lifestyle
4. Avoid Smoking and Alcohol
5. Patience. Remember, hair growth after a transplant takes time.
6. Regular Observation: Send post-operative photos to your doctor for progress tracking and early problem detection.

We recommend that patients sleep on their backs, with a raised bed head, or with multiple pillows in the first few days after the transplant. For the first week following the transplant, a headrest cushion can be used. It not only prevents the transplanted zone from contacting the pillow, but it also holds the head in a specific position so that edema does not develop and the transplanted hair area is not injured in a dream. We recommend sleeping with two or three pillows the first week after the transplant to keep the body as upright as possible. This protects the transplanted area from pressure or accidental damage while sleeping, while also reducing swelling. In the future, there are no restrictions and special recommendations for sleep.

The healing process typically lasts several weeks to several months, depending on various factors such as the patient's overall health, the extent of the procedure, and the patient's aftercare regimen. In general, patients can expect to return to normal activities within a week or two after the procedure, although strenuous physical activity should be avoided for several weeks. During the first 2-3 weeks, the transplanted hair may fall out, but new hair growth should start to appear within 3-4 months. It's important to note that the healing process is unique to each individual and the timing of hair growth can vary. It's best to follow your surgeon's instructions and attend all follow-up appointments to monitor the progress of your hair transplant  and address any issues that may arise.

Generally, the process of shock loss of transplanted hair begins about 20-25 days after the transplant and lasts about 2 months. The transplanted hair begins to regrow after the third or fourth month. By the end of the fourth month, approximately 30% of the transplanted hair has grown, and after 6 months, up to 50% of the transplanted hair has grown. For most people, the remaining transplanted grafts provide growth in the range of 85-95% within 12 months of transplantation.

If it is especially important to you that all traces of the transplant disappear completely and that no one notices changes in your appearance, it is best to plan a return to active social life no sooner than 7-10 days after the transplant.

Donor hair does not have a genetic predisposition to fall out because it is collected from the occipital and temporal regions of the head. As a result, the transplanted material is not rejected by the patient's body over time, and the hair remains in place.
